How to create Artwork for Screen Printing

The best way to get your artwork to us is as an attachment via email saving the artwok logo as it was created in

PROGRAMS ORIGINAL FORMAT. DO NOT CONVERT OR FLATTEN IMAGE.

We can open most digital file formats (pdf, jpg, tif, eps, psd,cdr).  We prefer all art be converted to vector format in order for the sharpest print edges and ease of creating required over printing.  You will need an program such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Files should be at least 300 dpi (no compressed web .jpg or .gif files) at 100% size that you want printed. Please include center and corner registation marks. We can also work with a clean hard copy of the artwork as in images to be scanned . For shirts where there is mainly text you can send a Word document or similar, please do not convert your file to an image. When sending text please include a font file with your image. Color or black and white photographs will need to be converted by our artists. Be aware internet objects are not even close to being screen print ready, they have a low dpi  .

Macromedia Freehand 10 and below.
EPS (Encapsulated Postscript)
PS (Postscript)
PDF

The following formats are usable but may require reworking by our art department to prepare for printing.

QuarkExpress 6.0 and below.
PageMaker 6.0 and below.
Indesign CS and below. 
Publisher 2003
Raster/Bitmap files (Photoshop, TIFF, BMP, JPEG)Faxed or mailed drawing

Screen Printing Artwork instruction and tips:

Most customers art is not print ready and will need assistance. Monster Press Screen Printing offers one on one design and graphics. Our designer create shirts daily for all types of customers. We will listen to your ideas and needs, then graphically design your garment. Logo work and design will be fun with our assistance, available. ($40/hr) pro-rated per half hr. Generally this service will be a very good investment toward your best final product
